Last week a friend and I had the privilege to stay with a family from church for a few days because they have a new addition to their family: a sweet, adorable baby boy. There is always excitement about a baby, especially a brand new one; that's the way God made us, to have joy about what He has created. I thoroughly enjoyed my time getting to play with the little ones and received great joy from being a help to their mother. When we give, we bless not only others, we also receive a portion of the blessing. I think that is one of the amazing gifts God has given us on this earth. I very much look forward to doing this again in the future; it was a great experience to practice being a mommy and I now have another family I can call my friends.
....to my blog!
My name is Jordan Comeaux and I am 19 years old. I am a child of my Heavenly Father who knit me together in my mother's womb. I trust completely in His wisdom and sovereignty, and by His grace I strive to follow Him daily as He leads me in whatever direction He has for my life. The journey is difficult because I am a weak, sinful human being. But I rest in God's promise that He has forgiven me and will someday take me home to be with Him forever. I hope you enjoy my blog, and thanks for reading.
Sincerely ~

Great picture Jordan!
Thanks Mica! =)
Sorry I'm a little late, I just found your blog from a link on your profile, I LOVE your photos, especially of the Loyd children and the one of you at the bottom. It looks like a soft focus, is this what you did?
I've been admiring a lot of soft-focus photos of late and would like to learn how it's done.
Could you help me?
-Emily
Hey Emily! I'm glad you found me. Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from you b/c you're such a great photography yourself. I actually put in the "soft focus" with Picasa. I must say, I don't know much about the tecnique. I know you can buy lenses specifically for soft-focus, or some lenses have it as a side feature I think. I'm not sure if you can do it with a regular camera or not. I'll have to look into it now =) I'll let you know if I find anything about it! ~ Jordan
